Venue

Originally built as a movie theater in 1945 (Astor Theatre) closed in the late 70s, Neighborhood Theatre underwent restoration in 1997 and was converted into a live performance venue. Neighborhood Theatre is a live music venue hosting local and national acts. We are located in NoDa, Charlotte’s historic arts district, filled with restaurants, shops and bars. Neighborhood Theatre is the perfect setting to see a show from an old favorite or to discover a new band that energizes and excites you.

Neighborhood Theatre is an independent music venue with a diverse line up of acts…something for everyone. We welcome you to come and enjoy live music with us.

The Theatre is handicap accessible and non-smoking.

Seating Info

No Guaranteed Seating unless you’ve purchased a Reserved Seating ticket option (not offered on all shows).

Seating varies from show to show.  Most shows are general admission (standing room only) with limited seating available on a first come first serve basis.

Open Floor Setup: Most shows have the area in front of the stage open for standing room only and often have limited general admission seating in the back of the main hall*.  With this setup, we often offer Reserved Seating in the Balcony upstairs & Reserved Tables on the bar side.  *At times there are no seats in the main hall and very limited seating elsewhere in the venue.

Gold Circle Setup: If Gold Circle tickets are offered then the area in front of the stage is filled with reserved assigned seats.  The rest of the main hall would be open for standing room only. With this setup, we often offer Reserved Seating in the Balcony & Reserved Tables on the bar side.

Reserved Cocktail Table 4-pack: This option is offered on many of our shows. This includes 4 tickets to the show and a reserved table.

Feel free to email help@neighborhoodtheatre.com to ask about venue setup for a particular show.
