āItās the most wonderful time of the year!āĀ Announcing the annual (20+yrs!) Chatham County Line Holiday Tour.Ā Always a good time, the 2025 edition will bring the band back together with old friends Johnny Irion and Jay Brown to sled through the CCL catalog with serious tinsel as well as giving each man a swing at the microphone to dust off a bit of AM Gold. No holiday songs. What will Dave sing this year? Presently undecided but some past tracks include McCartneyās Let āEm In, Gregg Allmanās Iām No Angel, Pettyās Itās Good To Be King, JJ Caleās Kiss This World Goodbye, Sharon Van Ettenās Seventeen, Sunday Morning Coming Down, Take Me To The River, Watching the Wheels, Let My Love Open the Door, Aināt Living Long Like This and countless other classics he has since forgotten.
As of 2025, Chatham County Line has cemented itās legacy as one of the premiere touring acts of the modern century. Formed in Raleigh, NC in 1999 they have since caravanned their way across the world for over two and a half decades.Ā Originally rooted in the Bluegrass world, the band has since tromped its way through the genres of Folk, Country, Americana and Rock & Roll all while embracing the heart-worn songwriting and rough-hewn voice of leader Dave Wilson.Ā Modern times find the band: Dave Wilson (acoustic & electric guitars, harmonica), John Teer (mandolin, fiddle), Greg Readling (Standup Bass, Pedal Steel) and Darren Jessee (Percussion, Synth) wrapping more modern sounds around Dave's expanding catalog of original songs.Ā Their 2024 release Hiyo pushed these sonic explorations home and introduced their songs to a whole new generation of fans. In the words of leader Dave Wilson āLeave the house, youāll be glad you did.ā
